CardBrowser began operations in December 2001 as a ‘secret service’, and commercial availability was announced in March 2003.
CardBrowser attends hundreds of computer software and hardware, information technology (IT), Internet / digital media, telecommunications, and related tradeshows and conferences globally each year. Our field consultants attend these events and collect business cards from the exhibitors - who are high-tech c-level, sales, marketing, consulting, and engineering professionals. We upload the business cards to a searchable database on the web. There are approximately 250,000 business cards online now, and we add thousands of new cards every month.
Business cards are the most accurate, authentic, and desirable form of contact information. While our customers utilize and appreciate other online services – nothing beats a large stack of business cards collected from a specific tech industry tradeshow!
Our customers are enterprise software companies, systems and networking vendors, VARS, integrators, software engineering firms, IT consulting and outsourcing firms, new media / Internet companies, and search firms. They rely on CardBrowser for finding and recruiting the top management, sales, marketing, and technical talent.
CardBrowser is also used for sales prospecting, marketing, and lead generation, by companies who provide products / services to high-tech companies. Our customers are tech media publishers, tradeshow and event producers, tech associations, sales outsourcing firms, sales trainers, consultants, and others.
CardBrowser is a service of PeopleComm, Inc., a privately held tech industry research company and online service provider founded in 1999. Our corporate headquarters are located in historic downtown Northport, New York. We occupy an old, beautifully renovated two-story loft-style barn, with panoramic views of Northport Harbor.
